Hello everyone 👋🏼
I would just like to announce the arrival of my beautiful baby boy, Jasper, who arrived last week. We are both doing really well, we are all absolutely besotted by him. I am so in love and I can’t believe we finally have our little treasure.

Thank you to those that have passed on their well wishes. I’m missing you all and I hope everyone and their pups are keeping well!

All my love and all the best,
Ceara 💙

Ziggy Bear’s first teeth clean has gone to a good start! 🦷✨
He has a light build-up of staining and plaque. With a few more sessions we can get these looking sparkling.

Thereafter, it’s super important to maintain regular maintenance sessions to prevent any further build-up. Well done Ziggy! 🌟

I believe it’s super important to share this with our audience as not every groom is a picture perfect reveal. The grooming industry can be tough, and lower ratings often come from doing the right thing: prioritising a pup’s health over aesthetic expectations.

At Royals, our philosophy is Humanity Before Vanity. ❤️‍🩹 Your dog’s emotional and physical well-being always comes first.

Why Matting Changes the Plan?

ℹ️Removal comes first: Water tightens knots against the skin, causing pain and irritation. Matting must be clipped before bathing.

ℹ️Safety dictates length: Tighter matting requires a shorter clip to safely remove it without hurting your dog.

ℹ️Stress limits set the pace: If a puppy reaches their limit, we pause. We’d rather split grooms into multiple sessions than cause lifelong salon anxiety.

When a groom requires extra time, handling, or paused sessions, you’re paying for professional care, safe equipment, and compassionate expertise.

3 Ways to Support Your Pup at Home

✅Start early: Book introductory puppy grooms as soon as vaccinations are complete at 12 weeks old. Don’t wait until the coat is overgrown or when they are older.

✅Line brush daily: Brush down to the skin. If a metal comb catches the coat, a mat is forming!

✅Never wash a matted coat: Water pulls knots tight against the skin, making removal far more painful.

Thank you to all our wonderful clients who trust us to treat their furry family members with patience, kindness, and respect they deserve! 🐾
