Macmillan Cancer Support - 100 Mile Walk Update 💚

Day 6- Sarah and Sian have already walked 26.5 miles in total. They’ve ventured out to London, Silverstone, Dunstable Downs and other beautiful countryside walks.

Plus, they’ve already raised 83% of their target! Absolutely unbelievable and that’s all thanks to your generous donations, likes and shares. Thank you! 🤩

August is always a funny time, we understand you have your summer holidays booked, keeping your children entertained and making memories all whilst juggling work or life in general - us too!

All we ask is that if you can’t make your appointment, please give us a heads-up as soon as possible. We often have a waiting list of clients eager to jump into those spots, and we’re always happy to reschedule you for a better time.

Wow! Abbie achieved some sparkling results for this adorable boy! 🦷✨

Hugo had some light plaque on a few of his teeth, so we recommended our Emmi-Pet Single Session and managed to remove it all alongside his grooming session! 🪥🫧

Hugo made it super easy for us—he sat there happily and let us do our thing. We only wish we had taken before and after photos!

We recommend top up sessions every 4-6 weeks.

Macmillan Cancer Support - 100 Mile Walk Update 💚

Royals Dog Grooming owner, Sarah and daughter Sian, have made a great start with their journey, with day 4 hitting 15 miles total. They’ve adventured to Silverstone, London and for beautiful countryside walks seeing some gorgeous views and there’s a whole lot more to follow. 🏎️💂🏼🌾

Meet Milo! 🐶 This handsome Cockapoo puppy has been visiting us for his initial puppy sessions as part of our Puppy Package. He’s come so far while we help desensitise him to the grooming environment and prepare him for his first full groom. 🐾 🌟

Groomer Sophie kept his signature fluffy puppy look so it wasn’t too drastic of a change, but now his coat is so much easier to manage at home. Isn’t he just a darling? 😍

Grooming Tip: We recommend bringing Cockapoos in every 4–8 weeks to keep their coats knot-free and healthy! ✂️

Short and smooth like Mr Stan here! 😏✂️🫧

Sophie used a 7F blade on the body, trimmed his legs and tail, thinned out his ears, and ever so slightly trimmed his little top knot, 🤩 finishing with a nail trim which comes with all full grooming services.

A lot of pawrents request “Short and Smooth” as it’s more manageable for mucky adventures 🐾 and helps prevent matting. As the hair grows back, it’s important to keep brushing through the coat regularly or book your next grooming appointment so we can keep them looking and feeling their best!

Hi everyone! I just wanted to take a quick moment to share that the owner of Royals Dog Grooming – Sarah – and her daughter Sian (who you may occasionally see helping in the salon), are challenging themselves to walk 100 miles this August for Macmillan Cancer Support. 🎗️This hits all the feels for so many reasons. 🥹

One – Macmillan Cancer Support is a charity a lot of us have come across. They were amazing in helping our Nan, Sarah’s Mum, in her final days, so it was a no-brainer to support them.🌻 Cancer has touched all of our lives in some way or another. Every step taken is a stride towards providing people living with cancer the essential support they deserve.

Two – I couldn’t be prouder of both my mother Sarah and sister Sian taking on this challenge after the past few years they’ve been fighting a never-ending battle to get support for Sian’s SEN needs.

Recently, Sian has found a new love and distraction: walking and wild camping! 🚶🏼‍♀️🏕️ It’s perfect for the mind, soul, and body, and if I wasn’t towards the end of my pregnancy I would have been joining them (probably not the wild camping part though! 🫢).

I’m in awe of the progress Sian has made. To watch her go from the shell of the girl she once was to blossoming now and wanting to experience adventure is incredible. 🤩

Sarah and Sian have some little and some BIG adventures planned this August to get as many miles as they can for this fantastic charity, and they will be sharing their journey online, so we’ll keep you posted.

Their aim is to raise £150 and they would appreciate any donation, big or small. If you cannot donate, please share this post across your platforms to help spread the word!
