It’s not Christmas trees (it’s too early for that) but it is from our Christmas tree family. Please take a look.

When was the last time someone took a photograph of you?
And when you saw it…
Did you smile?
Or did your eyes immediately go to everything you thought was “wrong” with it?
Maybe you’re the one who always says,
“I’ll take the photo.”
Maybe you quietly step out of the frame.
Or maybe you’re in plenty of family photos… but never really feel seen.
This photograph was taken recently.
Every time we look at it, we smile.
Not because it’s perfect, but because it captures two women who genuinely enjoy being together.
It also reminds us of something.
We’ve been friends for 18 years…
…and we don’t think we have a single photograph of us together from when we first met.
Not one.
When we met, we were both heavily pregnant.
Then we became new mums.
Every week we’d meet up with our babies—usually tired, overwhelmed, and just trying to get through another day.
We weren’t thinking about taking photographs.
We were thinking about feeding babies, getting through sleepless nights, supporting each other, and simply surviving.
Looking back now, we realise it was never really about the missing photographs.
It was about the women who had quietly disappeared beneath all the roles they were carrying.
For years, we became mums.
Partners.
Daughters.
The dependable ones.
The women everyone else relied on.
And somewhere along the way, we stopped asking:
Who is the woman beneath the roles?
That question changed everything for us.
It’s also why we created this free workshop, for any woman who’s spent so long caring for everyone else that she’s forgotten to care for herself.
If this resonates with you, we’d love to invite you to join us.
