I'm going to be honest — I'm getting increasingly frustrated with postal delays.⁠
⁠
I make every order personally. I carefully package it, check the address, pay the postage and get it handed over to Royal Mail at the Royal Mail sorting office in town.⁠
⁠
And then… it's out of my hands.⁠
⁠
When a parcel doesn't arrive, I completely understand why a customer is disappointed — especially when it's for a birthday, anniversary or another special occasion. I feel exactly the same.⁠
⁠
But what can be incredibly frustrating is being asked to "review my delivery agent" when, as a small handmade business, I don't have another delivery network sitting behind me!!!⁠
⁠
I can't control the sorting office.⁠
I can't control the backlog.⁠
I can't control when the postie delivers it.⁠
⁠
What I CAN control is making your order with care, getting it dispatched promptly and doing everything I can when something goes wrong.⁠
⁠
Behind every small business is a real person — and we're often just as frustrated when something outside our control lets our customers down.⁠
⁠
