It’s been a strange couple of weeks with lots of mixed emotions…
I’ve seen the Queens words ‘Grief is the price we pay for love’ referenced lots of times.
It is a price that can hit you unexpectedly hard even years later..
Six years ago we were arranging the details for the funeral of our little boy - born too soon.
I remember the agony of standing in the florist, trying to make a decision on which flowers to have on his tiny coffin.
Tomorrows momentous event will feel very sad and I imagine poignant for many who feel the loss of both the Queen and those they have lost.
