Supun brought his PRS SE Custom 24 into the Garage after it suddenly stopped making any sound. 🎸

A fault like that can be frustrating, especially when you just want to get back to playing. We tracked down the problem, got everything working properly again and gave the guitar a full setup while it was here.

All sorted, playing properly and ready to get Supun back to doing what he does best — hopefully feeling better than ever! 🤘

Budget guitars have become remarkably good, to the point where recent reviews are again questioning just how much more you actually get by spending substantially more. ([MusicRadar][1])

You know when you look up for a second and think… **there are some lovely guitars on the wall at the moment.**

As much as our main thing is repairs, setups and the like, I do love finding interesting used guitars to **put on the wall and have for sale** too — and there’s a really nice mix in at the moment.

Different styles, ages and price points, but all with a bit of character. They’ve all been through the workshop, set up properly and are ready to play.

Alex brought this beautiful **American G&L ASAT Classic** into the workshop for a setup and a little fretwork.

The fret ends had become a bit sharp along the edges of the neck, so they’ve been tidied up and smoothed out, followed by a full setup to get everything playing as it should.

Absolutely gorgeous guitar, and one I’ve thoroughly enjoyed having on the bench. There are definitely worse ways to spend a morning!

Which do you prefer for your main guitar — Telecaster or Stratocaster?
Both are absolute classics, but they feel and sound very different in the hands.
The Tele gives you that direct, punchy simplicity. The Strat brings more switching options, contour and that unmistakable in-between sound.
