📢 I have some important news to share.

After a great deal of thought, and for health and wellbeing reasons, I have decided to close The Frog in the Craft.

My current plan is for the online shop to remain open until 31 October 2026.

Between now and then, I’ll be adding more of my remaining stock to the website and reducing prices in stages as part of the closing-down sale. Not everything will be reduced at once, because it's too much work for it to be done in one go... Most products will not return once they have sold out. The only exception will probably be my wooden button making supplies (discs and rings with guidelines, Yorkshire button looms and shuttles) because I know they are popular and also I am not sure what will happen with them once the website is closed. I’ll keep sharing updates, as much as I can as I work through everything.

Thank you to everyone who has bought from me, attended a workshop, watched a tutorial, shared my work or supported the business along the way. The Frog in the Craft has brought some wonderful people and opportunities into my life, and I’m proud of what it has become.

For now, my focus is on closing the shop properly and finding good homes for the stock I have left so I won't make any promises on what happens to other things like my YouTube channel yet. 🐸💚

Several people (including my husband and a few friends!) have recently pointed out that perhaps I work a little too hard... Really? Never really thought of what I do as work! 😅

However, the last couple of weeks have been a bit more challenging than usual thanks to fibromyalgia and arthritis deciding they wanted some attention. I've been trying to push through as normal, but after making a few silly mistakes recently (all sorted now thankfully!), I've decided that perhaps they all have a point.

So next week I am going to take a few days off to rest and recharge.

I'll still be keeping an eye on messages and emails, but I may be a little slower than usual to reply and I won't be processing orders again until the following Monday.

Just to reassure anyone who is booked onto it, the Art of Nature Wellbeing Walk on Wednesday is still going ahead as planned of course, with the Yorkshire Button mindful activity.

I think it's time I listened to this nagging voice that keeps telling me:

"Put your feet up, have a cuppa, and stop trying to be Superfrog for a few days." 🐸💚

And for once, I think I'm going to listen.

Last week, we slowed down long enough to notice more, focus and reset. 🌿

I'm looking forward to discovering what tomorrow's Art of Nature Wellbeing Walk has in store for us. ✨
