For once a post NOT about glass!! I have a short single mattress that I had specially made to fit into a bed built into the bulkhead. It’s very good quality and has only been slept on a handful of times. It would make a great spare for kids sleepovers and I think would fit under a standard single when not in use. It cost £350 and I can’t bare the thought of it going to landfill so if anyone would like it for free, let met know.

Holmfirth Art Week is celebrating its 60th year and here at The Garden Studio Netherton HD4 7HG - Fringe Venue #37 we are donating 20% of takings to the Art Week charities and . As well as my glass fusing classes, and drop-in sessions, you can find out more about the lovely art of Zentangle.

Join Annie, your Certified Zentangle Teacher and unlock your inner artist.

We have specific, 2 hour Zentangle workshops, Tuesday 7th July at 10am (Autumn); Wednesday 8th July at 1.30 (Winter) and Saturday 11th July at 1.30 (Summer).
These workshops cost £35 and include a frame to take away your final piece. Book places through my website www.madebymarion.net

There are also drop in sessions during each day ( make a ceramic Christmas decoration or heart, or a couple of fridge magnets with tangle patterns and a watercolour background. You can also do a taster session of Zentangle when no official workshop is running! Come and give it a go. No artistic experience necessary and all materials here.

A fabulous start to our with the “Christmas in July” workshop this morning. We are supporting the Art Week charities and with 20% being donated.
This afternoon Gary and Helen popped round and made sheep coasters, and a group got engrossed in a drop-in Zentangle session with Annie Taylor Czt. Zentangle is a wonderful mindful drawing process using repetitive patterns.
You can join us at venue 37 The Garden Studio Netherton HD4 7HG from 11am - 7pm all week. No need to book. Lots to see and if you fancy getting creative you can make your own fused glass or Zentangle piece.
If you’d like a longer creative experience our special art week workshops have a few places left. Book on my website www.madebymarion.net🙂
