Flowers for Teresa 🌸

It was an honour to create these very special funeral flowers for Teresa.
We were told that Teresa particularly loved roses and carnations, so we made sure both featured abundantly throughout her flowers, surrounded by a beautiful mixture of soft cottage-garden blooms in pinks, lilacs, peaches and whites.
Alongside the beautiful 4ft casket topper, we created personalised Mum and Grandma tributes, all designed in our signature cottage garden style so that everything complemented one another.

Teresa’s flowers didn’t end their journey at the service. Afterwards, we discreetly collected the casket topper from the crematorium and brought it back to our shop. We carefully took it apart and used Teresa’s flowers to create 28 individual mini posies for her loved ones to take home.
From collecting the arrangement to remaking all 28 posies and delivering them to the wake, we managed it in just one hour and ten minutes. ❤️
It meant that flowers chosen especially for Teresa could live on beyond the service, with 28 of her friends and family each taking a little piece of the tribute home with them.
Our heartfelt condolences go to Rosie and all of Teresa’s family. It was an absolute pleasure to work with you and a privilege to be trusted with something so important at such a sad time.

We will have a bit of disruption to opening hours this week:

Monday 09:15 til 15:00

Tuesday 10:00 til 15:00 (with a possible 30min closure during those opening hours)

Wednesday opening 09:00 til 16:00 as normal

Thursday 09:30 til 16:00

Then we will be back to 09:00 til 16:00 Monday to Saturday.

We've got photographic 2027 calendars in stock now. We have a dedicated Castle Hill Calendar and a general Huddersfield Calendar.
Both calendars are by our new addition to our shop Ian Kennedy.

Introducing the incredibly talented Hassan H-Drawz

This young lad has been a pleasure to get to know over the last few weeks. He's put together a range of Huddersfield pieces for us. We have all of the originals, framed and on sale, we also have prints ready to buy. I think Hassan is going places with his art so snap up his originals now before he hits the big time 😉🙂

Check out our display of children's art work in our windows!
This summer holidays we've given out well over a hundred colouring sheets for free. We've given kids a chance to spend some time away from screens and have their artwork on public display. We even had one man try to buy one of the entries!

We will be judging the returned drawings during the first week of September and getting in touch with our winners. Don't forget to bring us your finished pieces this week.
