Revive Kirklees is taking over management of 'Pass It On'

We are pleased to announce that 'Pass It On' is being transferred from 'The Yorkshire Children's Centre' to 'Revive Kirklees' from 16/10/23 and we believe this transfer of our people and assets will result in a value-enhanced business proposition that will continue our efforts in leading the reuse market in the Kirklees/West Yorkshire area, whilst simultaneously helping our local communities.

Going forwards we will offer gainful employment & volunteering opportunities, together with the provision of essential items at affordable prices; whilst contributing in the preservation of our local/global environment. We are delighted that 'Pass It On' offers the addition of furniture reuse to the portfolio of possibilities as a result of this transfer

Moreover, 'Revive Kirklees' will continue to contribute any surplus profits to our two very worthwhile member charities, 'The St Vincent de Paul Society (England & Wales)', who help people in poverty and 'SLATE', who work with people with learning difficulties. Both provide hope and support to those who need it most.

Louise Megson, Director, Revive Kirklees, says: "This is an exciting time for Revive to expand our successful operations in Kirklees and to ensure job security for the Pass It On Team and a continuance of services to the local communities"

Mark Farmer, Chief Executive at Yorkshire Children’s Centre, says: “We’re pleased to have worked with Revive Kirklees to transfer the Pass It On shop so it will continue to operate and support the local community. I like to thank this opportunity to thank all of the Pass It On staff and volunteers who have worked hard over the years to make the shop a success. I’m confident that Pass It On will continue to go from strength to strength in the future, under the management of Revive Kirklees, and with the dedicated support of the team. Good luck from everyone at Yorkshire Children’s Centre.”
