I’m on with a next small batch. There’s going to be some lookers in there judging by the neck grains coming through.

Finished off this beauty for myself this week. I’ve been on the lookout for something old to put one of my Dobson tonerings into. This old Windsor turned up in a bit of a bad state. But bones were there to make it work well. Refret, straighten neck, machine tuners, Dobson tone ring and a hide head. Lovely fun thing to play now.

I’ve been plotting a full minstrel style neck, ogee and headstock details. I 3d printed a template today at full size to tweak bits before I start making wood chips. Saves lots of time seeing it in real life first.

Seeger-Style Banjo Bridge with Crowe Spacing & a Raised 5th String. I’ve had this configuration in my head for a long time. But only recently got a 3d printer and have the capability to make them at a reasonable price.

If you’ve had a mountain banjo off me in the past and purchase one of these, I’ll add my new wider spaced nut that will fit your mountain banjo for free. Just add a note to your order.
