Global Village Stall ethically trades with small companies and individual craftspeople, maintaining and encouraging traditional skills and small-scale enterprise across the globe. The business combines passion and experience gained from years of working with local communities and trading with handicrafts and textiles around the world. Our products are beautiful and unique gifts, home accessories a

nd furnishings that are handmade, eco-friendly, and sustainably sourced from rural artisans. Our stock includes: Handcrafted leather bags and satchels; Leather-bound diaries with handmade paper; Unique bedspreads, throws, cushion covers; Hand-painted ceramic doorknobs; Handcarved wooden blockprints; Coconut shell handicrafts; Cotton and silk scarves; and ethnic jewellery. By paying a FAIR PRICE, in ADVANCE, DIRECTLY to manufacturers and local craftspeople the aim is to TRADE FAIRLY at COMPETITIVE PRICES. Product prices range from £1 to £75 with an average price of £15. What is unique about our products is that not only is each item handmade and non-identical to any other, but they are also made from natural, eco-friendly materials. Moreover, our product selection and keen pricing has been geared to cater to the young and old, male and female, rich and poor so that anyone coming to our stall can buy a special something for someone. Finally, for the discerning and socially conscious buyer, purchasing from our stall means that they become a vital link in our ethical trading partnerships, and help small rural enterprises and artisans in developing countries to earn a decent livelihood.
