New colour, classic pattern 👌🔥

Introducing Roasted Oak from Symphony’s new colour range, fitted in herringbone on this job. A lovely warm oak tone that brings character to the space.

A great finish starts with the preparation. We used 9mm plywood, along with Mapei Renovation screed over the concrete and to build up the deeper areas where the floorboards dropped away, creating an even base ready for fitting.

The finishing touches included Ali Wrap nosings from Stairrods UK Ltd and thick coir matting at the entrance—a practical addition to help catch dirt as you come in.

We worked alongside The Flooring Outlet on this one, and we’re really pleased with the finished result 🙌

From a work in progress to a place called home 🏡

I popped back to this Elements Limed Oak Herringbone job to replace a few scratched planks and finish off the last little details.

With all the customer’s furniture back in place, it was lovely to see the finished room come together. The warm oak tones and herringbone pattern look right at home 👌

When you’re fitting a floor, you often see empty rooms, tools and materials. Coming back and seeing the space being lived in is always a special part of the job.

It’s those finishing touches that make all the difference.
