Super hot day down in Maidstone! 🥵 Thanks to everyone who showed up, shopped & survived! We wish we could have air con in all the empty shops we take over but sometimes they get decommissioned when the last shop left 💔 Trust us, our team know how it feels and we’re in there all day 🫠

Coincidentally, a standard pair of jeans and a t-shirt is around 1kg (£20) on average too, often just slightly less. So it doesn’t have to cost the Earth, to help the Earth. ☺️

Best part is he turned up a day early! Shout out to the other fellow small business he’d tried it with the day before for that little fun fact. Got the wrong day and then got caught anyway. 🫠

Can’t believe we have to say this but please don’t steal from us, this is full time work for a handful of people and these days every kilo counts. Our profit margins are actually quite low because we want to remain affordable, and hundreds of other people are honest enough to pay for their items so it’s not fair on them either.

We’ve discounted and donated many items to people who genuinely couldn’t pay for their haul, we know ‘affordable’ is subjective but theft is not something we’ll tolerate. We’re not a big global corporation so you’re not taking from the shareholders, you’re taking from the five of us. 👎

And finally, we do have this person on camera so dont try it again or we’ll have no choice but to post it and let everyone rip into your questionable shoplifting outfit. That was a bold look for someone trying not to stand out while they’re up to no good! 🤣

Nobody sees us driving for hundreds of miles, getting up at 5am, carrying everything by hand from one end of the shopping centre to the other, pushing half tonne tubs of clothes up ramps, being on our feet for 12 hours straight, trying to squeeze in a coffee or two, borrowing clothes straight off the rails because the weather changed overnight, figuring how we get the huge van into the small awkward parking space, trying to make it to the hotel before the restaurant shuts for the night… so it’s a huge relief to do all that and finally see people turn up. 🥰 Thanks for visiting us in Carlisle and Chester this weekend!

£3 for Calvin Klein and £7 for Carhartt? We don’t separate out the best bits, the price is solely determined by the fabric, style & composition.

Heavier, higher quality cotton will come with a slightly heavier price tag, but even if you do choose premium weight pieces, that’s still a fraction of what you’d pay new, or even from other vintage shops. And yes, we do sell to many vintage shops & resellers for this reason. 😀💸
