The St. Mary’s Royal Mail sorting office has two delivery vacancies.

One duty is a min 10hrs pw year round. The hours then increase on top of this base to cover holiday, this can be up to 37+hrs a week or more. We also have a 27hr a week position covering Maternity leave with the potential of more hours too.

Both roles are available for immediate starts, subject to formal application process.

I want to reassure everyone that the ATM does not appear to be malfunctioning in anyway.

Along with the support of the Post Office I have been monitoring the ATM today. It has shown no faults and has passed all technical checks at various points throughout the day. No cards have been detained and no other issues have been registered. I will continue to keep a close eye on the machine over the next few days.

Please check your cards before using the ATM. The ATM will automatically retain all cards that are damaged or out of date.

Due to the Cash Machine being currently unavailable the Post Office will be opening for cash withdrawals only Sunday and Monday morning.

It’s Live!! After years of planning and preparation today the new ATM for the Isles of Scilly has gone live. I am delighted, with the support of Post Office Ltd and Link to be able to have this opportunity. It not only provides a vital service to our community and visitors, it also adds to the ongoing viability of the Post Office.
