Had to pop to Thornham today and it would be rude to not call into Gurney's Fish Box.
They have opened an oyster bar serving a selection of fresh oysters shucked there and then. They also have sensibly priced chilled drinks including zero beer. Well worth a visit !
The tag is for Burnham as I couldn’t find one for Thornham 🤦‍♀️

Just a reminder that we will be closed Saturday and Sunday as we are supporting Hunstanton Town Carnival BUT we will have a stall on The Green with a selection of our kits and gifts. We will also have future workshop details so do stop by and say hello.
Don’t forget it’s FATHER’S DAY on Sunday (21st June) and we’ll have a selection of unique, handcrafted gifts under £10 !
Hunstanton Caravan and Camping Equipment are helping with our stall and they will have some of their mystery boxes for sale. Their children have raided the shop and done the hard work putting the boxes together and they will be snaffling the takings for pocket money so do support them ! 💰
The shop is only round the corner so we are happy to open up if you would like anything we don’t have on The Green.

How is it that with the blink of an eye your children are all grown up and gone ! My amazing daughter now lives in Australia but it’s lovely to see her for a few days while she’s in ‘Europe’. We debated where to go for a good old Sunday roast and ended up at the King William IV - Sedgeford. Oh my days. It didn’t disappoint! It was obvious that everything was home cooked ! We were so full we shared a sticky toffee pudding 😇 which was fantastic. Again you can tell it was home made. There are lots of great places to eat but today the King William deserved a mention!
I’ll be spending some time with her tomorrow and Tuesday but the shop will be back open on Wednesday at 10am

❗️Opening hours update ❗️
Tomorrow, Sunday 14th, we will be open 11-1pm. My daughter is visiting from Australia so we are going out for a proper Sunday roast ! 🥘
Monday and Tuesday we will be closed. Re open Wednesday 17th 11am. Thanks for your understanding but some time with my girl is precious 💕
