A warning light on the dashboard led to a deeper investigation on this 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera.

Diagnostics revealed a misfire on cylinder one. To identify the exact cause, Evan swapped the ignition coils and spark plugs between cylinders. When the misfire moved to cylinder two, the faulty coil pack was confirmed.

This particular part has been superseded by Porsche three times due to known reliability issues. After discussing the options with the customer, the decision was made to replace all six ignition coils β€” helping to prevent the same problem from returning on another cylinder.

A gearbox oil leak on this Porsche Cayenne GTS V8 meant there was only one way to properly investigate the problem β€” the gearbox had to come out.

In this video, Evan removes the gearbox from the vehicle and explains what he discovered once everything was apart.

Unfortunately, the required Porsche parts need to come directly from Germany, so the repair will continue once they arrive in approximately a week.
