TIME : A vital ingredient for an Aquascape. Some things can’t be rushed.

It’s just as important to offer the aquarium time, as much as it is to do water changes, plant densely, provide good lighting, CO2 and weekly maintenance.

Aquariums gain stability and maturity with time.

With more time comes more stability.

Always be prepared to offer time to your Aquascape.

Volker Jochums 90cm Aquascape created at a .official workshop. Almost 3 weeks old already! A stunning, technical and beautiful layout. Those plant will fill out in no time.

There will be a workshop video for this one too. As we include the ‘grown in’ footage at the end of each workshop video, it’s takes some months to release the video. Another 6-8 weeks and we will have a video ready for you on this one 😊

Beautiful island scape in the Aquarium Gardens showroom. Scaped by .aquascapes in an Aquascaper 600 powered by .eu 600ec.

Really mature and stable, this scape has found the perfect balance. The Black Lava stone offers an ideal surface for plants to adhere themselves to. This scape is almost fully epiphytic, apart from small tufts of Marsilea in the sand and some Cryptocoryne to the rear.

Epiphyte plants include:
Java moss
Hygrophylla pinnatifida
Micranthemum Monte Carlo
Christmas Moss
Bolbitis
Bucephalandra
