Futaba's first combined fixed-wing receiver and gyro is a very welcome addition. Packing T-FHSS protocol, a full range receiver, six conventional PWM outputs, an S.Bus2 output and, of course, a 6-axis gyro, there’s also four flight modes, support for numerous wing configurations and much, much more. Take, for example, switchable 'roll flat' functionality, which acts as a beginner-friendly co-pilot, takes control of aileron and holds the wings level whatever the conditions, through cross-wind landings, control-line turns and whatever else is thrown at it.
