Welcome to Broadlands Pottery, my name is Cheryl Haines and Pottery has been a hobby of mine since school. I have my own workshop and kiln at home and I love working with clay and glazes. The kilns are working overtime, usually 1 is on, 1 is cooling down, 1 needs to be emptied and 1 is ready to go,

We’ve had a great Monday, making and sending out shop orders that came in over the weekend

Did you know it’s National Dog Walker Appreciation day today!
This heart was super popular last weekend as people were buying them as gifts for those special people.

I’m having an absolute blast at Defender Burghley Horse Trials

So, I mentioned that I’d brought a lot of new Christmas decorations and my prediction was right….The first item sold was this sheep bauble, in fact he’s been the best seller for 2 days.

Lots of lovely people are returning to us for a new decoration and it’s such a wonderful thing,

I can’t wait any longer 🎄🤶🎅

Last week it was Summer, this week it’s Autumn and nearly Chrimbo

I’ve counted up that we have over 20 new decorations so I’ve lots to share over the next few weeks.

All of them have come to Burghley with me so if you’re coming you’ll see them first.

I can’t wait for the first to sell and I can tell the team which it is.

Oh my days I’m proper shattered

From a fully loaded van, up the motorway and almost set up at the Burghley Horse Trials.

I’ve got another day to get it tip top so will go in tomorrow,

The silly market season has started and I’m here for it
