Short Notice Boat Trip Availability…..

The next High Street Tackle lure fishing trip has 2 spaces available this coming Wednesday 12th August…
The fishing has been much improved lately so hopes are high with it being a good tide too.
Banter and beers will be available and for anyone interested we can advise on exactly what you need to bring.
Departure time is not confirmed yet and there is not usually a rush to get back in.

The shop will be closed all day on Thursday 6th August to enable us to go on rather a special trip. These opportunities do not come up that often and during the day many of the products we sell will be put to the ultimate test.
Aside from the obviously good experience it benefits us as a business to ensure and see first hand that the products we sell are as good as the expectations we all have for them.
Open as usual on Friday….

Anthony has been in a couple of times recently topping up his Black Minnow armoury - last night saw him out with Predator 2 Charters putting them to good use on some nice fish….this one taking a fancy to Kaki 😎🎣

Had a day off on Tuesday for a High Street Tackle trip with Predator 2 Charters out of Ilfracombe - it started off a very cloudy day although still warm. Within 10 minutes of leaving the harbour we spotted a load of bird activity and were instantly into loads of fish very close to the top. After this early entertainment we moved on to find bigger fish. Stopping at several places as the tide changed we caught an excellent number of fish for most of the day. There were no monsters caught but a very good proportion of the fish were a very good size. There were some definitely large fish dropped by almost everyone throughout the day which whilst annoying at the time kept everyone on their toes and concentrated.
With the water being a little murky in places it was Candy Green Black Minnows doing the damage and also Lime Juice 😎
Definitely a good day out…..🎣🔥😎

High Street Tackle regular Dave Oxford had a busy weekend last week…..
Banging weekend on the bass with Seriola Sport Fishing Cornwall on Saturday and Spirit of Arun Fishing on Sunday. Been a long time since I spent a weekend chasing birds and getting home late stinking of fish, and my success rate is definitely better here 😂
What started as a little bespoke boat bundle of Fiiish bits from High Street Tackle has very quickly become an obsession in boat fishing and I’m bloody loving it 🥳
