We're back with yet more woolly workshops for you! All held in Ilkley, West Yorkshire, there's lots to tempt you whether you're interested in felting or spinning. Angela is running a Wet Felted Pots workshop soon which have previously been sold out, you might need to be quick to get a place on some workshops!

I've been busy again! This time I snaffled some of our Passion blend home for a brand new pair of socks. I separated the colours in the blend which has created this fun striped effect. It's a gorgeous blend of Merino and Bamboo, and if you're quick there is still some left! I wonder what will make it's way home with me next...

Don't forget, our 100% British wool Fibre Advent is available to preorder now and will be posted out at the beginning of November. The price has been held again at just Ā£75 including free UK postage! 24 x 25g parcels (600g total) for you to open with a range of natural and hand dyed products in tops and batts along with a selection of plant and silk fibres in all colours and textures.
This year you'll follow a journey of colour throughout the month, allowing you to make a cohesive project at the end. All that plus plastic free packaging!

We have a brand new shade of dyed Shetland for you! A gorgeous red purple, we have named it Berry (an almost identical shade to our Berry Bergschaf). I am loving her against the Aubergine below, I think it's only a matter of time before I find the perfect project with this shade!

People often ask us "What else do I need?", whilst this is not necessarily a "need" it's definitely a must-have for me! This is our wraps per inch gauge, the way they work is by wrapping your yarn around the tool in the 1inch gap at the top, the number of times it goes round helps to give you an idea of the weight of your yarn. Perfect for if you're spinning for a project and you're not sure what weight yarn you're creating! I can't tell you how many times I've used mine. We've just had a new batch in of WPI gauges and they are the most crisp yet!

Can't get to us during the week? You're in luck as we have a Saturday open day coming up on the 19th September at our shop in Addingham, West Yorkshire! Open 9.30-12.30, you can join us for advice and demonstrations on all things woolly. The wheel clinic will be providing TLC for your Ashford wheels. The photos only show a part of the shop so do come along if you want to see the whole thing! All 3 of us will be there so do come along, say hello and squish and smell some fibre!

Oooh, 30 years ago today! Surely Pearl weddings are only for older people, not us? We look so young in the wedding photo, and I have never looked that smart, or thin, since. You'll notice by way of continuity that Angela is clutching lilies in the wedding photo, and an Acer that we bought ourselves as an anniversary present today.
