Hi all,
Due to the high demand and workload which I am currently experiencing, I am once again having to send all phone calls to a recorded message; I simply can't keep up with doing actual spannering and answering calls, too. This is to maintain fairness to people for whom I already have bikes here and are waiting for their work to be completed.

Just a heads up that it's getting very busy now as the new season kicks off.
As of writing this post, I am already fully booked until Tuesday 24th March.
I will do all I can to accommodate ad-hoc small repairs over the coming weeks, however for any significant work/servicing I will be taking bookings for the 24th onwards.

Hi, I’m Tom and I'm the proprietor of Tom’s Bike Shed, a family owned bicycle repair business based Chard, Somerset. We employ a number of professionally trained mechanics and are confident that we can meet all of your cycle repair needs.
I am a keen multi discipline cyclist myself and have been riding since the 90’s. I have a real passion for both cycling and bicycle maintenance alike and am always pleased to have a chat and offer free, friendly advice.

Free bicycle safety inspections, repair recommendations and free of charge no obligation estimates
All bicycle types, brands and disciplines catered for
Puncture repairs, wheel building, hydraulics, full restorations etc.
“Bicycle Finder" service; we do the legwork to find you a new/second hand bicycle meeting your specification, inspect & collect it on your behalf and complete any maintenance required (subject to your agreement to the estimate provided)
Free adjustments, advice on bicycle fit and how to improve your comfort in the saddle
We are fully insured (product and public liability £2m) and to cover your bicycle assets whilst in our care
A collection and delivery service is available upon request (mileage rate applies)
