Soooo I know we went awol there for a while! I think that’s the longest we’ve ever been away from Instagram! Honestly, the hot weather got to us 🫣 - whilst worrying about the farm flowers (weirdly they’re fine,) stressing over super hot weddings and just generally working through 30 degree heat, something had to give! The shop is looking beautiful though, so that’s something 🥰

Happiest of birthdays to my little Lu, 8 today! Professional barker, worrier, sourdough stealer. Skilled in the art of turning her ear inside out, extracting every smear of peanut butter from a tub and finding her way into my bed. Looks like butter wouldn’t melt but loves the sound of her own voice a little too much 😅 6 years with you and I couldn’t love you more! ❤️

Due to Katy and Patricia being on holiday, no weddings, a bad back and sheer exhaustion, we’re slightly down on hours this week! It’s also looking like another hot hot week, so flowers in store will be slightly less in quantity - please preorder if you can! Thank you!

Buckets and buckets full of bramble grown blooms are being picked this week! Miraculously they all LOVED the heatwave and its flowers galore at the moment on the farm. Hurrah!

Happiest of birthdays to Zeus! Also known as Big Oom, master of sleeps, cuddle monster and owner of two brain cells (one for every day life, one for opening the baby gate,) Zeus is 7 today! I can’t believe we haven’t even had him for half of his life, and thank St Giles Animal Centre every day for him!

Zeusy had a mast cell tumour removed a few months ago, and he’s back to the vet tomorrow as we found another lump, so wish him all the luck 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Due to the forecasted heatwave, Kirsty’s children’s school will be shut on Wednesday & Thursday, which unfortunately means the studio Black Swan Arts will be too.

If you’d like a Frome delivery (with £0 delivery charge) on Wednesday 24th, please do let us know by 12 tomorrow and all being well the studio will be back open on Friday.

Last summer we grew some plants. We delivered them to still life gin - who then distilled them. We tasted them, mixed them & tadaaah, a beautiful bottle of gin! You can get yours now from their shop on Catherine Hill. Cheers!
