We are very privileged in Ilminster to have the beautiful Church of St Mary situated in the heart of the town. Visitors to the Church find that it

is an oasis of calm in a very busy and noisy world. Services are held here every Sunday, when well over 100 worshippers enjoy the fellowship of other Christians and leave feeling refreshed and uplifted. During the week the Church is open as often as possible and there are daily services as well.

Community Fair Trade Sale & Tea at the Vicarage (21 Higher Beacon, Ilminster TA19 9AJ) on Saturday 8th August 2pm-4.30pm. Fair Trade food products & household goods, crafts, gifts and cards will be sold as well as reductions on ethically sourced clothing brands: Namaste, Nomads and White Stuff. Fair trade refreshments will be available, Card payments accepted.

We marked Lammas, the first grain harvest, at our Whole Church service this morning. Our reading from the Gospel of Matthew spoke of kindness, generosity and God's amazing provision. We heard how Jesus gave thanks, blessed and shared two small fish and five loaves to feed a crowd of 5000+. We shared in the feast and had the chance to make our own loaves during the service!

SUNDAY 26th JULY 10.30am - We come together with St Mary's Whitelackington as a benefice for Holy Communion and a Bring and Share Lunch after the service, in The Minster Rooms. Our Bring and Share Lunch after the service will be an opportunity to share fellowship and to hear from some people already involved in different areas of our church community.
