I’ve had a flurry of new people find me in the past few weeks so thought I’d reintroduce myself.
I’m Lisa, the owner and curator of nest and nettle. I have a beautiful, character filled shop in Somerset. I’m located , a hospitality centre with a lovely cafe, event spaces and pretty grounds. There are also a few other independent shops here. Monks Yard happens to be my families business too.
I’m passionate about interiors, gardens, intentional gifting, cosy corners and seasonal, pretty spaces. I love to bring all of these passions to the shop, and feel very grateful that this is my job.
Alongside my shop and website, where you can browse curated collections, I also run Artisan and Vintage Markets through the year at Monks Yard. My vision for these markets is to bring exceptionally talented, small, south west based businesses together, to offer an inspiring, chilled and joyful day that goes way beyond just shopping. It’s about building a community 🤍 I love hosting makers, artisan food and drink producers and charming, brocante inspired vintage wares. My next market is on 27th June, so do pop that in your diary.
