I’m back from a wonderful long weekend in St Ives, and thought I’d share some of my favourite spots in case you’re planning you’re own trip:

Coffee and food stops:
Porthmeor Cafe St.Ives - delicious coffee and breakfast
Yallah Cafe St Ives - coffee and freshly made cinnamon buns
Blas Burgerworks - for the best burger!
St Ives Bakery - the best almond croissants and pastries, cakes, cruffins and pasties.
Porthminster Kitchen - the best roast dinner in St Ives

The Painted Bird
St Ives Bookseller
Paper Sailor
The St Ives Co.

Beaches and walks:
Around the Island, a short circular walk to soak in the amazing views; plus lots of benches if you want to sit and enjoy the scenery.
Porthwiggen - a little more sheltered
Porthmear for waves and sunsets

Goodbye August, hello September 🍁🤎

August has been a busy month, full of lots of shop changes; from layout tweaks, curtain making and website work, to the eclipse, pretty flowers and many lovely days out with family and friends mixed in.

I hope you’ve all had a wonderful Summer too.

I can’t really believe it’s September; this is going to be a pretty big month as I try and pull together all the components to transition into a more interiors store.

It’s going to be super exciting seeing the vision come to life.

Many of you have been asking me in the shop this week, ‘when is your Christmas Market?’, so for all you eager beavers out there here’s the details, so you can get it in your diaries!

📆 Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd November
⏰ 10am - 4pm both days
📍 Monks Yard in Somerset (TA19 9PY)
Free entry and parking

Nearly 45 amazingly talented stallholders will be joining me, and they will be made up of makers, artisan food and drink producers and vintage curators; but all are based in the South West. I’ll be sharing more details on this wonderful community soon.

The spaces will be decorated, the festive vibes will be flowing, it’s going to be the best weekend.

For the first time my Christmas Market will be taking place across two days; giving space and capacity for lots of you to join us.

So, mark you calendars, you won’t want to miss it ✨
