More new stock arrivals in the last couple of weeks including lots of new stickers from the wonderful StickerShop! I'm actually going to have to re-order many more as most of these have gone now after some large orders from Kilmartin Museum (Argyll & Bute), Govan Stones Museum (Glasgow) and Rathcroghan Visitor Centre (Co. Roscommon, Ireland).

After a bit of cajoling from the lovely folk at Rathcroghan Visitor Centre, I now have my 'Cù-sìth' design available as a greeting card (and not just a die-cut sticker)!
Printed on 300 gsm recycled card by the amazing Pennybatch Gallery (with a recycled Eco Kraft envelope and compostable cellophane bag). These are now available at Rathcroghan and direct from me (link in profile).

Tea towels unboxing! The first of three big re-stocks arrived last week with this box of 50 tea towels from the fabric printers I use. Perfect and amazing quality once again :)
In addition to topping up my own stock, these stag/horse/hound/cat/hare tea towels will be part of larger orders going to Dumfries Museum, Govan Stones Museum (Glasgow) and Rathcroghan Visitor Centre (Co. Roscommon, Ireland).

New/old stock. I was having a long overdue clear-out of my workshop and found many pieces I'd made that had never seen the light of day! These include brick candle holders and hand carved slate cheese/serving/charcuterie boards.

Eight bindrune pendants finished with liquid gold-leaf. A commission from a customer in the US, I made these from stones gathered on the coast of southern England. Each stone is around 4 cm high, the bindrune is 2.5 cm high. Individually hand carved using 0.9 mm and needle-point diamond burrs.

Pictish skateboard. Hand drawn with black ink pens, paint pens with liquid gold-leaf highlights. A bit of a mash-up of Pictish symbols, not so much a 'Serpent and Z-Rod', more like a Serpent and Crescents and Z and V-Rods!

Another house sign restoration...in wood this time!
When I took this old sign down, it was badly weathered- much of the wood was soft or crumbling and some just deteriorated to dust. With the aid of wood hardener and high performance filler, I stabilised the sign before planing, sanding and carving. Finished with exterior black gloss enamel and yacht varnish.

The last of the three stone bowls that I made for Greener Peebles Community Garden, Scottish Borders. This one measures 27 x 20 x 16 cm and weighs 12.5 Kg. Hand cut, ground, polished and carved from a local river stone.
