Just a dog. 🥰

From time to time people tell me “chill out, it’s just a dog” or “it’s a lot of money just for a dog.” They don't understand the distance traveled, the time invested or the costs incurred by "just a dog". Some of my proudest moments have occurred with “just a dog.”
Many hours have passed being my only company "just a dog", but not for one moment did I feel despised. Some of my saddest moments have been because of “just a dog,” and on those gray days, the gentle touch of “just a Dog” gave me comfort and the reason to get through the day.

If you also think “it’s just a dog”, then you’ll probably understand phrases like “just a friend”, “just a sunrise” or “just a promise.” “Just a dog” brings into my life the very essence of friendship, trust and pure unbridled joy. “Just a dog” brings out the compassion and patience that make me a better person.

For "just a dog" I will get up early, take long walks and look forward to the future. So for me and people like me, it’s not “just a dog,” but an embodiment of all the hopes and dreams of the future, the memories of the past, and the absolute joy of the moment. “Just a dog” brings out the good in me and takes my thoughts away from myself and daily worries.

I hope one day they can understand that it’s not “just a dog”, but the one that gives me humanity and keeps me from being “just a human.” So the next time you hear the phrase “just a dog”, just smile because they “just don’t get it”.

A Huge Hello From all at Inverness again after 4 long months!

Firstly, we’d like to ask, are all of our beloved and loyal customers fine and in good health?
We have missed your happiness, smiles and interaction, we have collectively faced the most challenging of times for more than a year now. Hopefully will never see again it happen again and fingers crossed!

It has been a struggle from a business perspective for us but with the help of all concerned not usually employed, we managed to once again to provide a post out service to many of our wonderful customers across the whole of Scotland over the past 16 weeks or so.

We could not have survived this testing period without your continued support and for that matter our government who have supported us financially.

We are very happy to announce that we made it through the bad times and are opening this morning! We are very excited to welcome our customers back for some of your sweet treats, we will be fully compliant with the very latest government guidelines.

We will also provide hand sanitising stations for you to clean your hands on entry and exit, and the staff in early to sanitise the whole shop and stock to provide a totally clean and secure environment so you can shop with confidence.

We will continue to utilise the methods above to continuously guarantee this high standard of hygiene.

As we re-open we know, more than ever that only your continued and loyal support can get us back on track and ensure we survive as the business has took a huge financial hit to get through the past 16 weeks and keep the shops from closing. With your help and support I’m sure we can weather the struggles of the past and keep going to ensure you always have the most fantastic of sweet shops in your local community.

As our post out service was a big hit whilst we were closed, we understand that there are still so many worried and venerable people that are desperate to get back to normal and enjoy the fine treats that we sell, so we are pleased to announce that we are employing more help to continue the post out service to any customer that can’t get in to the shop, this will continue as long as it is used and required by you, our customer.

Please feel free to call the shop during business hours (written below) to place you postal delivery order, for all persons wanting to come down and see us, we are very much looking forward to seeing you in the shop and sharing a conversation and a smile with you once more.
