Hey, When I closed UV I asked Oxfam if they wanted some Vinyl. We used to put a lot of Vinyl to Oxfam since we opened …well this is what was raised since we closed

The total amount raised through the sale of your donated items this tax year is £1418.50. This figure includes previous sales of donated items.

I still donate here in Nairn but now to Local charity shops .

Where do you all go now that UV is shut ? It can’t be HMV and it most definitely can’t be the junk shop !?!? Or maybe you don’t buy vinyl anymore or just online ie Discogs / EBay etc ?

Vouchers ….. Please Read … If you have an in date voucher it can be used Fri & Sat
If you have an out of date voucher it cannot be used and is now void
If you have a voucher that has NO date on it , that is also out of date and Void
If you have an in date and valid voucher Vinyl 2 Vintage in Nairn will honour up to its expiry date after UV Closure …***FAO Union Vinyl & V2V are separate businesses one is a Sole Trader the other is a Ltd Company***
Loyalty cards cannot be used in UV or redeemed this weekend and Loyalty cards from UV cannot be used in Vinyl 2 Vintage after the weekend …

Rob “ Hoops” appreciation Post 😎 Rob joined in 2019 part time to give me a few days off after burning myself out working 7 days a week after the sudden death of my Mum who helped me in the shop.
He came with a wealth of experience in Retail and his music knowledge was outstanding . He steadied the ship and brought a different dynamic to the shop and a different view .
We rarely seen each other as we never worked together 😂 we communicated through WhatsApp. We tried to meet up now and again but as he was doing such a great job managing the shop I didn’t need to intervene with anything .
He bossed the Social Media with his own style of wit and sarcasm 😉and sometimes when I was on customers would come in as say “ I love your FB posts “ off course I said yeah they are great aren’t they , totally taking full credit for it 😂 .
When I decided to close down the shop Rob was totally understanding of the situation and was completely supportive of the decision. He didn’t want a fuss when we had a closing date set . That’s why he left last Sat without a fuss but a great post .
Rob is a Great Guy , I miss him already and our chats and wish him well with whatever he has planned ❤️

Morning .. I decided to close UV down due to a number of factors , Rent , Water, Electric , Internet and Wages all increasing and with the massive downturn in Sales due to “ Cost of living” it just became unsustainable to keep open . I did have a couple of enquiries about Buying the business but nothing materialised, so I made the call on closing it down .
Massive thanks to Rob aka Hoops for keeping hold of the reins of the Shop and dealing with me on a daily basis, I’m glad people can’t see our WhatsApp shop messages 😂
So what I’m doing now is getting the shop emptied of all stuff you just accumulate and getting it ready for a handover to Landlord , the steps are already killing me taking all the stuff up to the van .… I will update re vouchers in another post , No loyalty cards to be used in this instance …
All is not doom and gloom though we have an Amazing Vinyl shop in Nairn , lots of you haven’t visited so why not visit now for your vinyl fix . Please like and share our page Vinyl 2 Vintage ❤️
