We are open today 10am to 12.30pm and 1pm to 5pm for all your refilling needs.

We also have loads of spare boxes and wrapping from multiple deliveries this week. Our recycling bin is full for the month - so if you need any for packing, storing, selling, or do I even say it yet - wrapping Christmas presents (!!!) - then come on down.

Lavatories across town, rejoice! Toilet bombs are back 💣 🚻

Made in Manningtree by using natural ingredients, simply pop one into the bowl, and when it's stopped fizzing it's time to clean. Choose from lemongrass, bergamot or spearmint scents.

We also have two more Herbal Homes products which are back after a long absence:

- Washing Machine / Dishwasher Freshener (add a spoonful and put on a cleaning cycle)

- Drain Freshener (add a spoonful to the drain hole along with a splash of water and let it fizz away all your grime!)

Sometimes I forget to bring in containers, too.

Luckily, we get lots of donations from customers, such as this yoghurt pot which came in handy for our plant-based "beef" burgers.

They're surprisingly juicy, and cook in the oven in about 20 mins. I used our extra strong aluminium foil, which is 100% recycled - and can be washed and reused.

If you have some used containers you'd like to donate, do make sure they're clean and smell-free - and drop them off at the desk so we can double check them before they go out.

What would you like us to start stocking?

Megan has made a stock suggestions board, where you can add items you'd like to see at Unwrapped & Refill.

If enough people request it, and it fits our ethos, we will try and get it in.

Suggestions so far:

- Brandy soaked mixed fruit
- Coconut milk powder (2 votes)
- Compostable cling film (2 votes)
- Inulin powder
- Mirin
- Teriyaki sauce

Someone also asked for tomato ketchup, which we do sell, and fresh orange juice, which we can't as we don't have a fridge ☹️

Emma likes to think outside the bag.

She's been doing a fantastic job weeding the back garden for us, and even brought her tools in a carrier she'd made out of an old rabbit food bag. Genius!

The extreme summer rather put a dampener (or rather, a hottener) on the community garden, with very little growing that we could share. The rosemary seems to have established, though, and other donated plants are starting to recover. We'll try again next year!

In the meantime, big thank you to Emma (Graham's daughter) for helping us to keep what we do have under control 👏

Don't know about you, but after such a long hot summer, we're so ready for autumn!

The nights are getting chillier, so why not warm up with an organic, vegan-friendly soup?

You could even make your own bread to go with - we have all types of flour, as well as gluten free flour packs and quick yeast.
