Use Grazers caterpillar spray to avoid damage to your plants from cabbage white butterflies, caterpillars and aphids without actually harming the pests. You can either pre-treat your plants to avoid damage in the first place or spray at the first signs of damage to limit the effects and to help the plants recover by encouraging new healthy growth. No harm is done to the pests, so this encourages natural predators back into the garden e.g. songbirds and ladybirds. How are your fuchsias? Have you got fuchsia gall mite? This is a tiny pest of fuchsias which sucks the sap from the plant causing the foliage to become distorted and eventually the plant can no longer produce normal leaves or flowers. Our natural pest control, Amblyseius andersonii, is the answer. Simply hang the sachets on the affected plants and the living control will get to work. 1st class tracked postage is included in the price.

The latest RHS - Royal Horticultural Society magazine recommends feeding your plants with a homemade comfrey feed which is great advice. However if, like me, you don't have a patch of comfrey plants, we have an easy to use alternative - our comfrey 'plus' pellets which you can simply sprinkle around your plants or turn into a liquid feed. Comfrey is a shrub famous for its use in gardening and is a tried and tested additive to provide soil nutrients used worldwide since the 1800s. Butterfly Conservation 's Big Butterfly Count 2026 is on until 9th August and this year's heatwaves mean the UK could be on track for a bumper summer of butterflies. Anyone can take part in the Count and help paint a picture of how butterflies are faring. In the UK, 80% of butterfly species have declined since the 1970s, with over half experiencing significant long-term drops in abundance. Help butterflies in your garden by putting up a butterfly shelter - simply position in a warm sheltered spot in the morning sun to help to replace lost butterfly breeding sites. Wasps are attracted to fruit trees (especially plums, cherries, apples, and pears) and will damage ripe fruit as they feed on the sugary juices. Our hanging orchard wasp trap is ideal for trapping and controlling wasps in orchards, fruit trees or gardens. Supplied with 250ml of powerful, pesticide-free liquid wasp attractant, simply add 50ml to the trap and hang it up in a sunny spot. Once the attractant has activated (normally 24 hours), the wasps enter through holes in the side and once inside they cannot escape. Simply empty and refill with the attractant, once it's full.

This Green Gardener bumblebee box contains a live colony of native British Bobus Terrestris Audax bumblebees. Bumblebees are very effective pollinators of fruit, vegetables, flowers and herbs, so positioning a live colony in your garden will boost their numbers, ensuring good pollination of your plants. Each bumblebee box contains an established colony containing a queen and workers and a supply of nectar to sustain them while they get established. These bumblebee boxes are not weatherproof, so they need to be undercover or order the wooden box complete with the colony and simply order a replacement colony each year.
