⚽🏃 A summer of sport at Barony Universal! ⚽🏃

Over the summer, we’ve been getting into the sporting spirit with a couple of competitions celebrating the FIFA World Cup 2026 and Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games

⚽ World Cup Predictor - colleagues predicted the results throughout the tournament, with the top four taking the winning spots! 🏆

🏃 Commonwealth Games Athletics Quiz - a quiz testing knowledge of the athletics events, with one lucky winner taking home two tickets to the Athletics Evening Session! 🎟️

A huge well done to all our winners across our Production, Health & Safety, and Engineering departments and thank you to everyone who got involved! 👏

⚽🏆 World Cup fever has well and truly arrived at Barony Universal!

Over the past few weeks, we've been embracing the spirit of the FIFA World Cup 2026 with flags from participating nations displayed across our site, scoreboards keeping everyone up to date with the latest results, and our World Cup Predictor Competition attracting more than 270 employees 🌏

A huge thank you to STEM Recruitment Solutions and Major Recruitment for supplying our scoreboards and helping us bring the tournament to life👏

Our CANteen has also joined the celebrations with special host-country inspired menu items, while Scotland's return to football's biggest stage even gave us an extra bank holiday to enjoy! ⚽

It's been fantastic to see so many colleagues getting involved, creating friendly competition, sparking conversations across departments, and bringing people together through a shared experience 🏆
