We did it! We are all ready for opening Festival of Quilts 2026!
This year for some reason, more than any other, the preparation has felt like the biggest mountain to climb. Weeks and weeks of preparation - in conjunction with classes in the studio and other busy events. At some points it felt like an impossible task.
I have to thank Carole Carole Brown for her endless help and encouragement as well as Ross and Mika in kit and fat quarter preparation.

Also thank you to my mum
and Charlotte Chello Interior Design, Sussex for having Anna in Cornwall the last 2 weeks. Where she has had the most fantastic time and has meant I've been able to plod on guilt free! And to Alistair, which basically has had to do everything else!!!
So here we are ready to open. Looking forward to seeing everyone - old friends and new!

Getting ready for a show like Festival of Quilts is no small matter! Days and days of cutting, folding fabric and lots of sewing.
I knew I had one more quilt in me - and I was desperate to use the new collection Jingle Bell from Edyta Sitar
This morning I woke up and knew the quilt i was going to make. And after a day sewing and a 3 hour class this morning- here it is!
