After 6 years of running the centre with many up and downs unfortunately it has come time for us/me to hand up the tools and call it a day.

When we took over the centre in 2017 we couldn’t have dreamt of what we have created. Started out with 4 mates in the woods building some trails to ride.

Slowly over the years the four of us have had to move on with our lives. We had great times running the centre and wouldn’t have changed anything.

There is a lot more that goes on behind the scenes that no one will ever see, and that unfortunately is where the problems started to occur.

The future at Cheverton farm is very uncertain. There might be trails and events that occur on the site moving forward but the centre as it stands with the current management is over. We wanted to make this post to thank everyone that has helped us from day 1. With special thanks going to Cheverton Farm for allowing us to develop their amazing family farm.

With that said. There will be an exciting announcement coming in the next few weeks so keep your eyes peeled. Thanks for reading this far.

Unfortunately we are having to shut our doors early this year. With a very uncertain future for the centre and mountain biking in general we are not sure at this point what the future holds for us. It has been increasingly difficult to make the time to get to the centre to carry out much needed maintenance.

Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause but currently the site is dangerous.

Weather is looking good for tomorrow, although it’s a very reduced service we will be providing this year we look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow. We will be open from 9am till dark.

ALL PASSES MUST BE BOIGHT ONLINE. Before rocking up make sure you have bought your pass online. We will not have any staff to sell day passes or season passes at the centre. Staff will be about but that’s to make sure everyone is safe.

Season and day passes get you access 7 days a week 8am till 8pm. There will be no rental equipment, food or drinks so make sure you bring everything you require.

Looking forward to this year and hopefully we will have some exciting news to announce.

As cool as this piece of machinery is, the news to follow is not cool at all:

Due to forestry work taking place over the next 2 months the south side of the centre will not be opening on the 4th of May. As we will not know the extent of the damage until the work is complete it is unlikely we will be opening these trails at all this year.

For the 2024 season we will have; Blue Steele, Gravity Line and Devils Spine. We have priced all passes to the centre according to this news. ALL PASSES WILL ONLY BE AVAILABLE THROUGH OUR WEBSITE… No onsite purchasing this year.

We look forward to seeing everyone on the 4th May. We will be doing a post closer to the weekend with all the info about how to get riding.

Unfortunately due to a lot more storm damage than expected we will be delaying the opening of the centre until further notice. The trails have taken a beating and at this moment in time it’s too much work around our full time jobs to get things ready for the 30th March.

Sorry for any inconvenience, we hope to open as soon as possible.

Thanks

After what has been the hardest year as a business for the last 5 years, we hoped the weather would hold off for the closing weekend. Unfortunately with all the bad weather we have had this week and are still forecasted we are forced to shut the centre early this year. Unfortunately this means we are closed from now onward for the 2023 season.

We have a team meeting in the coming months to see how next year will look.

Little photo through back to last years closing when we were lucky enough to have some pros down for the end of year shenanigans.

This week will be our last Monday and Fridays session for the season. Make sure to make it out for one last ride before we drop to weekends only.

After the hardest year we have had we are left with no option other than to only open Saturday and Sundays 10-4 until we close on the 29th October. Hopefully next year we will be back to something more normal.

In more positive news we have a big announcement this week with which we can’t wait to share with everyone.

Not the posts we like to make but…

If people keep going past chains closing off areas and not following the instructions on the signs ‘Slow Down’ (being the main one, while going past peoples houses) then we will have no choice other than to shut the northside of the centre. We work closely with the landowners of Cheverton Farm and other business operating on this land but we will not have people ignoring signs and closed off areas.

The push up is just the other side of the fence. This red and white chain blocking the farm track is there for your safety and for the birds in the area.

Please respect these rules so we can continue to keep a positive relationship with everyone at Cheverton Farm.
