The final steps in our journey are to sew on the ribbons and box them ready to present, this gives us an oppotunity to have one last polish with a silver polishing cloth to ensure they arrive in a beautiful condition.

Have you been awarded a British Citizen Award medal? We would love to hear your story and see pictures of the ceremony at the Palace of Westminster.

Eton College asked us to remake a medal that they had historically awarded for Shakespearean studies. An original was seen in the Heberden coin room in the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford and an idea to strike some more began.

The original dies were held at the college and by making a new 'collar' we were able to use them to make a small number of these beautiful bronze 43.25mm diameter medals.

The college was delighted with them and we were please to be involved in the project.
