Important Update for my Etsy Customers in Europe 📦

To all my wonderful supporters across Europe, sadly I want to share an important update regarding shipping.

While I stopped EU shipping on my main website some time ago, the new EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) that took effect in August 2026 means I now have to make the same difficult decision for my Etsy shop.

As a UK-based seller, the new laws require me to register in individual countries, pay high annual fees, and hire European legal representatives just to send parcels into the EU. Because I run a small, independent shop, these massive fixed overhead costs are simply not sustainable for my volume of orders.

Unfortunately I have now turned off shipping options to the EU on Etsy.🌍

UK & International Shipping remains fully open as normal to the UK, US, Canada, Australia, and all other non-EU destinations.
I am incredibly sad to make this change, as I love sending my creations to my European Etsy community. I will be monitoring the situation closely to see if any affordable, platform-wide solutions become available in the future.

What an amazing night for Fine Feathers!

Last night, Fine Feathers won Best New Business at the Scottish Borders Business Excellence Awards and I’m still not quite sure it has sunk in!

A huge thank you to the Scottish Borders Chamber of Commerce for such a fantastic evening, and congratulations to all the winners, finalists and those who were highly commended.

Thank you also to all Fine Feathers customers for your continued support and every purchase. This award simply wouldn’t have been possible without you.
