AUSTIN IS 5! 😘🎉🥳🎂🎁🎈🎊5️⃣

Our beautiful peppa pig, gummy bear and gingerbread man loving little boy is 5 today!

Austin is a typical farm kid.. likes to get mucky, fiercely independent, helpful, hard working and loves to jump in mucky puddles!

Happy birthday to the youngest Thompson!

FRIDAY SURPRISE! 💙💙

Well we got a lovely surprise on our cow checks last night!

We found a newly born male calf and his very protective mummy out in the fields!

The new calf couldn’t really walk yet so Dan carried him all the way to our nursery paddock near home with a bad back too! Poor Dan.. 💪💪

We bring them close to home on a night when newly calved as quite often the mother will hide the calf to protect it.

But the only problem with that is if the calf hasn’t drunk its mothers milk in the first few hours and we can’t find it we have a hungry lost calf on our hands.. not what we want at 9.30pm on a Friday night! 🤣

So our new calf was finally named MISS MUFFIN last night which really suits her! 😍

We had a fab day at the Meat & Tatie Shed yesterday! You came and filled your freezers plus picked up your fresh meat, veg, eggs, pies, honey, treats and much more!

Last Friday night we shared the arrival of this little sweetheart in the fields and it was her first journey in a trailer today and she loved it!

The weather is forecast to be HOT HOT HOT tomorrow so who’s up for a Friday BBQ or some yummy Bank Holiday food! Yes please.. 😂🙌
