Tentatively thinking about bringing back my watercolour paintings…..trying to work out if I would have much interest in them…it’s been 3 years since picking up a paint brush and would love to get set up to try again. Lots of happy memories looking back at all the requests and ideas you all brought to me.

Hey there…I’m back, pen charged and newly inspired! ⚡️Books are back open for digital illustrations 💗 (a little nervous too)

The last two years have been difficult for us, but after a year following Phoebes new dance journey, this has sparked new inspiration for my creations.
This is doing the one thing she loves & connects with. This is from a dance competition at The Tower Ballroom in Blackpool!! *swoon* 🤩🤩 My absolute favourite image we got from the event photographers. The light, the movement in her hair, the beautiful placement her arm. She’s in the moment…💜 can’t wait to print it out and get it on her wall.

I’m having to take a step back from commissions and even shutting the door on life in the world of Ellistration. The start to the year has been a wobbly one.
My beautiful children struggle with their mental health and school. Phoebe has a diagnosis of autism with Sensory processing disorder and Finlay has Auditory processing and working memory struggles…School is increasingly hard, in all aspects of learning and social encounters and they can’t always make it all week…so I need to step back and be there for them even more than ever. Being a SEN parent means non stop advocating, supporting, learning, fighting, conscious parenting, form filling, chasing, it’s truly exhausting and takes its toll on us 💔 those cracks are deepening again and I need to just take things day at a time again and have enough energy to make it to my day job. It is a crap feeling to know I might have to let someone down so best to cut back right now… To all those other parents trying their best, go easy on yourself and know you’re not alone. (I’m always here to talk to and support) Thanks for reading and understanding 🤍 Han 🤍
