Wow, what a generous and thoughtful offer from Yetholm Bistro . As a way of saying ‘thank you’ 🙏 from 1st September anyone who gives their time and talents for free to the shop, either by volunteering or from taking on extra unpaid work, or behind the scenes with accounts, marketing and management… will be offered a FREE LUNCH at the bistro once a month. Please spread the word 🙏🤗

The Post Office is open today as usual, but please note that it will be closed on Friday and Tuesday of next week. Open again on Friday 14th as usual. Apologies for any inconvenience.

Kelso Civic Week have asked followers of Saturday's Yetholm Ride to help ensure everyone's safety and protect the area, by not using BBQs, camping stoves, disposable barbecues, or any equipment with a naked flame, and by being careful with ci******es. The shop will be fully stocked with delights from Rothbury Home Bakery, such as filled rolls, pies and cakes, as well as coffee and cold drinks. We look forward to welcoming riders and followers :)

Friday evening is FULLY BOOKED but we are also opening Saturday evening this week 🤩🥳 and there is still some availability then. Or come along for lunch - you can even dine al fresco on the village green thanks to the recent addition of a second picnic table

We look forward to welcoming walkers from the Ex-Kelso Laddies Club sponsored walk on Saturday. Filled rolls, juice, coffee, pies etc will be available for hungy walkers or their support teams :) Details of the walk from Kelso to Yetholm in the post below. NB registration is essential.

This week's Bistro Menu, please get booking!
This week we welcome home "other Jane" Jane Burr after her month in scorching France who will also bake us a "Cake du jour". The majority of savoury dishes can be served as either starters or mains, according to your appetite so I haven't separated them. Our delicious French puddings can also be offered as a "sharing plate" with small bites of each for everyone. Bon appetit!
