I am so excited to be running my first Ready, steady read event with Old Hutton Primary School!!!
The school have chosen to run a week long sponsored read and are hoping to raise lots of money to get new books for their classrooms and library, and the more they raise the more FREE books Usborne will donate to the school too!!!

Today is the start of our sponsored read-a-thon with Steph’s Stories!
As a school, we are working to raise as much money as possible to spend on new books for our classrooms and library. So the more we raise, the more we will receive in FREE books!
Over the next week, help us by encouraging your child to spend some time each day reading to themselves, reading to others or being read to. Reading doesn't have to just be books, they could read: comics, magazines, websites, menus, instructions, leaflets - anything with words counts towards their sponsored read.
Sponsor forms and reading logs were sent home before half term (if it didn't make it home or has gone missing, please mention this to a member of staff and your child can receive a new form).
There will be prizes for individual children and the Class that reads the most! ⭐️
