🩵🧡💚 Gorgeous newbies 💙🩵🧡

We've had a lovely fabric delivery, these three beauties are my favourite - well for today anyway 😉

🧵Pima Cotton Lawn, 140cm wide, £15 per metre

🧵Cotton Seersucker, 140cm wide, £10 per metre

Both are ideal for making lightweight & breathable clothing, from sleeveless shell tops to loose pyjama bottoms - perfect for this hot weather ☀️

Just practising making some cute strawberry pin cushions in preparation for our session with tomorrow 🍓

It's the final part of three where we will finish with a completed, mini sewing kit for each pupil 🪡

We've had a great time making needle cases, learning a variety of hand stitches, patching and embellishing clothes and talking about why it's important to repair things 💚

Thank you to children and teachers for all their hard work and enthusiasm. Looking forward to seeing their creations tomorrow ⭐
