Today I’m celebrating my 49th birthday - surrounded by friends and family and feeling incredibly grateful.

Just two weeks ago, my husband Tim and I were involved in a serious road traffic collision when another vehicle hit us head-on. We both sustained multiple injuries and had to be cut free from the wreckage taking nearly 3 hours to do so!

Thanks to the remarkable safety of our car, and the incredible emergency services, we are both here to tell the tale. Tim was taken to Lancaster Hospital by ambulance, while I was airlifted to Preston Hospital due to the severity of my injuries. The helicopter was the quickest and safest way to get me the urgent treatment I needed.

I can’t express how grateful I am that the North West Air Ambulance was available when I needed it, and for the outstanding care I received. Caroline, the HEMS paramedic by my side in the helicopter, was simply amazing, as was the first responder who reached us at the scene (I hope to find out his name soon). Their kindness, patience, and professionalism helped us through one of the most traumatic experiences of our lives.

In admiration of the Air Ambulance team and in celebration of my birthday, I’m setting myself the goal of raising £10,000 to support this incredible charity and the lifesaving work they do every single day. All our emergency services really are the best.

Cake Decorating Sprinkles should be EDIBLE - YES? 💜🧁
Well not according to
Some are even using OUR IMAGES and those of other reputable sprinkle companies to pass off their RESIN sprinkles which is outrageous - have reported but it would be a full time job finding all the listings and keep reporting them. 🤬😠😒
Guilty of browsing the site can't deny that 🙈, however the horror at the number of sprinkles being sold on there which are NOT EDIBLE is quite simply horrifying 😲🤐
So many people buying sprinkles being shown on cakes and cupcakes - some realising they are not edible but others do not! 😢 The safety aspect of this scares me.
ALL our sprinkles are 100% EDIBLE 💯 - have been through rigorous testing and meet the highest of standards. Please don't be fooled by the price of something and please read carefully about what you are buying.
Support small independent businesses who care about what they sell you 💜🧁

As a small business owner it is often difficult to remind yourself not to take emails like this personally 😢 This customer didn’t put her correct address on her order. Royal Mail couldn’t deliver it and therefore returned the parcel to us - and somehow this is our fault? 📮Once we received the parcel back a refund was issued less our costs for the postage. How can that be classed as unreasonable? 🤔 I wouldn’t usually do a post like this however why should we tolerate being subjected to emails like this? The customer’s tone says a lot…. 🙉🙊
