Hello everyone. Just a short message to say I will be closing the workshop from next Thursday 10 December for the remainder of 2020. It will re-open for bookings on Monday 4th January 2021.

My current plan, subject to any subsequent government regulations, is to self-isolate for 14-days before Christmas Day so that we can stay with my in-laws in the safest way possible.

2020 has been an extremely challenging year for everyone and I have been fortunate that the cycle industry as a whole has seen a major increase in demand.

It has certainly been a bonkers year in more ways than one and I would like to thank all my customers for their continued support. It has been a pleasure getting all your bikes back to the happy place. πŸ˜„πŸš΄β€

The pandemic is still with us, so please stay safe everybody especially over the festive period. πŸ₯³πŸŽ„

COVID-19 Update (18 May 2020)

I am currently putting plans in place to start again as safely as possible in the next week or so. The current Coronavirus Pandemic situation remains fast-paced and I want to make sure there is a robust workable procedure that will reduce the risk for everybody.

The operational advice will include the 2 metres social distancing rules on collection/delivery and also thorough workshop cleaning procedures will be in place.

For the time being, invoices will be sent electronically and I will ask that all payments be made by bank transfer.

In the coming days, I will be contacting those customers who have had service bookings postponed during this period of lockdown and I will be getting them booked in over the coming weeks.

I would like to thank you all for your continued support and for your kind patience.

Steve.

COVID-19 Update.
Following yesterday's government announcement, I have decided to postpone all my bookings until further notice.

The part-lockdown excludes bicycle shops/repair as an "essential support service". However, for the sake of everyone's health, I believe closing my business is absolutely the right thing to do.

We are all in this together.

See you all on the other side.

Be kind.

Steve.

That's all folks! The last job now out the door for 2019 and hanging up my tools for the festive holidays.

In 2019 I have welcomed many new customers and in addition to all my returning customers, it turned out to a very busy year.

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all of my customers for their support and for entrusting me with their bikes.

I look forward to keeping all your trusty steeds rolling efficiently in Twenty Twenty! πŸ₯³πŸš΄β€β™€οΈπŸŽ‰

Once again I'm catching up on social media after another busy few weeks! Here are a couple of highlights;

An Orro Gold STC Ultegra carbon road bike in for a full service including a popular upgrade; increase the cassette capacity from 28t to 34t. Now ready to glide up those Lakeland passes!

A Rose Uncle Jimbo enduro mountain bike also in need of a comprehensive strip down including a full pivot bearing service, suspension fork, rear shock and hydraulic seatpost service. Not to mention a new gold bling chain!

Also a reminder that I'm outside OMM - Original Mountain Marathon at 3-1-5 Health Club in Lancaster (almost) every Thursdays from 2pm-4pm.

Just about catching up with a busy couple of weeks so I'd like to showcase a few of the bikes that have been through the workshop.

A Gold-Service of the week; Cube Stereo 160 (2016) including a Reverb seatpost service. This full-suspension had all it's bearings replaced (pivots, headset, bottom bracket and hubs), I suspect, mainly due to jet washing. Now "bouncing" very nicely indeed.

Two Willer Trestina road bikes from the same customer in for a double-service. Izoard XP (black/red) and GTR (green/black).

A 10 year old Giant SCR2 road bike in for it's "first" proper service. Surprisingly in very good condition.

Finally, a Cannondale Beast of the East 3 (2017). A retro classic recently reintroduced with modern geometry and plus size tyres. An awesome 27.5+ hardtail trail blazer.

Give your bike the professional treatment it deserves.
