This time of year is all systems go — everything needs doing at once and it’s one of the hardest parts of the season.

So many repetitive jobs, and every time I have to properly psyche myself up to stay focused and on track…

It’s about understanding why it works 🌿

Led by Claire of Amber Jean Flowers, bringing 30 years of experience, this is a chance to learn the mechanics, decision-making, and thought process behind floral design — not just follow along.

Hosted here at East Chase Farm with Naomi of Paintbox Blooms, you’ll be working in a private setting, surrounded by seasonal flowers grown on the farm 🌸

Together, we’ll explore working with both British-grown flowers and imports — understanding their differences and how to blend them with intention.

With small group sizes, there’s space for real conversation, questions, and personal guidance throughout the day.

A slower, more immersive way to learn.
And a chance to truly develop your confidence in floristry.

It’s always a job I dread…
I think mostly because this time of year just feels a lot.

Plants need to go out, seeds still need sowing,
the weeds don’t stop, the grass keeps growing,
you’re watching the forecast for frost,
and still… no rain.

Then there’s these great big tubers waiting to be dealt with.

No time (or space) to be precious about it here—
they go straight in the ground and hope for the best.

And now… we wait.

For rain.
Proper, steady, everything-will-grow kind of rain.

You’ll be working with beautiful British-grown flowers, grown right here at East Chase Farm 🌸

Over the past two years, we’ve been working closely together — combining floristry and flower growing to create something truly unique.

Together, we’ll guide you through a full day of large-scale floral installations.

Sharing practical techniques, creative insight, and the confidence to work on a bigger scale.

Set on the farm, surrounded by the very flowers you’ll be designing with, this is a completely immersive and collaborative experience 🌿
