We will be CLOSING AT 4.30pm today (Friday 19th), as I am helping out at this wonderful concert at Kenilworth Castle this evening. Still time to book advance tickets, which are cheaper than paying on the door! Early evening, bring a picnic! The tea rooms will also be open for drinks (inc. alcoholic) and snacks.

The good news is that Tom the Philosopher is back! Be gentle with him... He shouldn't be lifting too many books at once, so keep an eye on him too, and tell him if he is overdoing it! Great to have him back. Also means we will be open on Sundays again.

I'm going on Tour!

Yep. In Sept I'll be whizzing round the U.K in my (t)rusty Corsa with my trusty Martin D18, playing songs from my upcoming Album, 'Use It or Lose It' and more.

Do you know about the Kenilworth Reads book club at Fossato Lounge? We meet once a month on a Thursday morning. It's not a Tree House book club, but Fossato asked if I would like to lead it. Rather than all read the same book we meet and chat about what we're reading, what we've been reading, share recommendations, etc. All welcome, just turn up! 11am, first Thursday of the month - next one is 2 July.

We are thinking about sponsorship. With costs rising faster than income, we wonder if there are businesses or individuals out there who could sponsor maybe our music licence or our film licence or the poetry nights that PGR put on. We are devising sponsorship packages, starting at £20 a month, but just putting out feelers here to see if there is any potential interest.

Just a reminder that we are closed on Sundays at the moment - not sure how long for, but until Tom is back at work. Hopefully not too many weeks, for Tom's sake! We want him back to full health and eyesight.

Just wanted to say thank you to all the people who have offered to help out while Tom the Philosopher is out of action. It's really kind! At the moment I find it easier just to do my own thing - we still don't know how long Tom will have to stay off work, so as time goes on I may call on some of you for help! But at the moment, I like the straightforwardness of just coming in myself and doing things in my own way. But thank you so much, it's lovely to have offers, and I am sorry I have not replied to everyone - I hope to in time! I have had my own health issues this week, all good now but it's added to the lack of time and headspace for emails etc!
(The more I look at the words 'thank you' the odder they look! Haha.)
