Half term Play & Build in the morning, and a mum - daughter date day on a sweltering day in ☀️

Awesome to have had today off with kiddo mooching around town after the event - lunch, ice cream at the Abbey, making a mystery bag of random picky toys at and a quick ride on the carousel at the Arc.

10/10 day, highly recommend (obviously slightly biased on the LEGO event but judgement still stands!) ❤️

‘LEGO scratches my brain the right way’

A brilliant start to our AFOL evenings last night - had a vanilla milkshake stout (dessert in a glass!), saw some cool builds and met some lovely folks!

Thanks for coming - will definitely return, look out for more details of our next one in due course…

Special mention - Catherine ‘s sister who for her first ever build (!) decided to go absolutely balls to the wall and casually knock out a 1,000 piece Paris set (finished diligently and reverently by me this afternoon) - like your style!!

The moral of the story - when your six year old comes to you asking for a fish and you tell your perpetually distracted daughter, “sure, do some research and we’ll see”, never underestimate them as we now have 5 fish😅
