We are a small family business based in Keswick in the heart of The Lake District on a site that has been stoneyard for over 100 years. Lakeland Green Slate originates from 450 million years ago and exists from volcanic ash deposited in water and also river sediment compressed by heat. The slate comes in a range of colours with some being heavily patterned and others being a more uniform colour.Our small but dedicated team have worked for ten years with slate so can provide you with a top class product, be it a vanity top for your bathroom or bespoke Chess Board, to wine racks and to simple place mats & coasters.
