It’s not often you get to do this but these medals came in this morning and after doing some research I found a picture of the sergeant that was awarded them to put them back together Felt lovely.

I’ve just bought this in and although it’s an absolute pristine condition, I’m going to keep it on the counter for everyone who wants to add a Word to the page that will be in there I think it will make a great read at the end of the month. The letter/page will start on. Saturday 1st August

This came in last week and it’s something that will not be going out on the shelf. World war 1 medeals are what I collect. I love the history and how much you can find out about the soldiers all through their service number.
This set was for pte James purves who was killed in action in 1916.
