Double delivery today, Rohde top 60 13 amp to Fleckney, instructions and kiln care given. Then a 16 amp top 45Nabertherm to Welford. The premises were a mixture of centuries from the 1500 to the 90s. Two happy potters. Have a great weekend everyone. 😊

Trip down to Worcester this morning, fit a new set of elements to a Nabertherm top 80, that went well, but had a bearing on an Alsagar wheel to change. The wheelhead has not been removed in over 10 years. Despite our joint effort it would not budge. Customer is going to work at it. Do remove wheel heads yearly and grease .

Customer brought some items for firing the other day, amongst them was a large beautifully made ammonite. This is my attempt at one and will be mounted on this cracking bit of wood , courtesy of an old mate Andy Barton. I’ll let you know how it works out.

Loaded up with a Rohde 600 wheel, shelf and seat, a top 60lt 16 amp . Off to a customer in Bourne, into a lovely garden studio. Then an interlock switch nearby, last but not least sort a pugmill in Market Harborough. Enjoy your weekend everyone. 😊

First job of the day, set of elements for a Nabertherm top 190 at the lovely Langton studio, great studio who run courses and one-off days. Kiln is fired twice a week for bisque and stoneware. Then of to Northampton for a service and strip a vertical pugmill that was absolutely solid with dry clay. Big bar and hammer got it going. 😄
