Glad it’s Friday, another busy day, first job in Oundle fit a set of elements to a Skutt kiln, came up with an odd fault, phoned Cromartie and spoke to one of their engineers, who said not heard of that one. Turned it off and it did work. Then another set of elements in Corby. Finally controller instructions and kiln care on the great Ikon kiln. Have a good weekend all.

Delivery of clay to Arts centre near Bourne, then on to a kiln service near Bury St Edmund’s, the bridge in the photo is reported to be the first iron bridge, older than Ironbridge. Lovely cricket pavilion and house in the background. Dog had a trip out with me today, enjoyed the walk.

Last job of the day, fit a new lid to a Rohde top loader. Customer had been using it for a while with his cement repair but bits kept falling onto the ware. New lid and looks great.
