After everything that’s happened recently, I think it’s important to remember the good people too. ❤️
The reality is that I’ve had an appalling experience with one outlet, where I’m £400 out of pocket, and I know other makers have lost considerably more.
But I don’t want that experience to overshadow the fact that I’m also incredibly fortunate to have my work with people who are honest, straightforward and who genuinely care about the makers they represent.
So a huge thank you to Donna at Artisan Fayreand Julie at House Of Evie Gifts.❤️
Sales might not be spectacular at the moment, holidays and this ridiculous heat are undoubtedly playing their part, but I know that my glass, and the work of the other makers alongside me, is in safe hands. After recent events, I’ve realised just how much that matters.
And to top it all off, yesterday I had the privilege of being invited to sell my work at The Artisan Apiaryin Tewkesbury, where I received the warmest welcome from Emma. More photos of that little adventure will follow!
So today I simply want to say thank you to Donna, Julie and Emma for being decent, kind and honest people.
Sometimes a bad experience makes you appreciate the good ones even more.
