So here’s the thing. Over the last while I have found a relaxing past time that I’d recommend to anyone. Sitting with a mug of coffee, looking out the patio doors, watching the birds feeding in the garden. JB has really lost the plot I hear a lot of you saying, but you should try it, seriously.
But this is where another wee problem arises. Mrs JB Wood likes to give the birds a proper diet and not just nuts, so she would quite often put out some fat balls etc for them. Which often contains seeds like barley etc, which would germinate if they hit the ground. Resulting in the flower bed turning into something like a farmers cereal crop field. Result… a very displeased Mrs JB Wood 🙈.
But to every problem there has to be a solution and here it is. Fat balls are not being made at JB Wood but I guess you could call them candles 🤷‍♂️. Careful choice of ingredients and put together at home also has a considerable saving on cost as you will know if you have ever priced these things in the shops. JB Wood have designed a simple and effective way to make these without too much hassle. Take a look at the pictures below. As you can imagine there will be no more available before Christmas but some kits will be available early in the new year. If you are interested, let me know and I’ll put you on the list for as many as you like. Simple to make and helps to keep the birds fed over the winter. Sorry folks, should have had this one up ages ago but unfortunately other things were taking priority.
Christmas Day is approaching real fast but I’m sure there are still some people (mostly males 😂) who have still some shopping to do. If it helps out, JB Wood have a few items left, ready to roll out the door. There’s a couple of high back chairs with leg rests and one double rocking chair left. The leg rests can be sold separately and will fit any chair I made in the past. Finished this wee project a couple of weeks ago for a mate. Fits in well with his Trans Canada sign. Only getting around to putting it up now. Not sure what category it would fit into. Not really house decor. Probably more like garage decor or maybe man cave decor (if you’re allowed)😂.
